Want to customise your clothes in a creative yet low-tech way?
Come along to the Bleach Painting workshop during WAK by Pearl! It will be held at OVERLAP and Creatieve Broedplaats Enschede (CBE) at De Klomp 120 and 122 in Enschede.
Info Workshop Bleach Painting:
Pearl will show you how to paint the most beautiful designs directly onto fabric using simple materials and a little bleach. It’s easy and produces surprisingly lovely results. Bring along a dark item of clothing of your own. It’s best to practise on an old T-shirt. Also, wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit of bleach on. If you’re working with bleach for the first time, try to keep it simple (think of a simple shape or image). It works best on clothes made from natural fibres and materials such as cotton and viscose.
OVERLAP will select some more dark-coloured clothes and jeans, which you may also choose from for drawing or painting.
