Wake up! 7 days of clothes swapping, restyling, upcycling at the former Pyjama Factory Robson.

Every year around 24 April, a commemoration is held for the Rana Plaza Disaster by various actions worldwide with special attention for the working conditions of the workers and the handling of textiles in relation to the environment: Fashion Revolution Week by fashionrevolution.org
We are taking action in Enschede.

From 18 april to 24 April you can swap , restyle & upcycle clothes and we have a fashion-photo-booth where you can do a fashion shoot yourself.

Start reorganize your closet and bring along garments you no longer wear but are still fashionable, whole, clean and ironed for exchange (max 5 pieces). The items you bring will be valued with points, the higher the quality and fashionability the more points you can score, which you can use to choose other clothes.

No points? It's possible to buy some clothes. Cash only. Do you still have Overlap-points from the previous Overlap-Swap, bring them along!

Restyle & Upcycle Workshops

• Annelies Bolijn teaches on Monday 18 April and Friday 22 April: Sashiko Boro from 13:00-15:00. She also gives tips for repairing with the sewing machine from 15:30-17:30.
  
• La Reina Design teaches on Tuesday 19 April and Wednesday 20 April:
  Drawing with the sewing machine from 13:00-15:00 and
  Punching with wool using a punch machine from 15:00-17:00.
  
• Yari Rabadán gives a workshop Embroidery, to embellish clothes but also for repair and upcycling on Thursday 21 April and Sunday 24 April from 14:00-17:00.
  
• And a surprise act by artist Quinta Bies to give your beautiful precious clothes extra value on Saturday 23 April from 14:00-17:00.

Repair favourite items

In particular, take one of your favorite piece of clothing that you want to keep but could use some repair or restyling.
Every day there are workshop(s) from 13:00 with different techniques with which you can upcycle your item.
On Thursday, Saturday and Sunday the workshops start at 14:00 . 

Entrance is free and there will be material for the workshops, Bringing your own material is of course allowed. Important, there is no subscription list so be on time because full = full, a free donation for the workshops will be appreciated.
